Painted Toms

I'm hooked on painting Toms. A friend got bleach on her shoes and asked me to paint something on them to cover it up. This is what I came up with.

Now, I'm hooked. I couldn't afford Toms to practice on so I went to Rue 21 and found this canvas shoes.

They are so much fun.

Never on here anymore... what a shame...

I never am on here anymore. I am either teaching, working with cheerleaders, or deciding on an One Act Play for this year.  Or following my son playing football or running after my other two... When I have time to do my painting... The things that are relaxing to me... The life of a mom...

Owls...

I got about 8 old windows that came out of a school house. I have been having a hard time thinking of what I would like to paint on these windows. Here is my first try at it.

I love how it turned out.

Quibids awesome deals everyday!

Recently my son and I created a Quibids membership. Quibids is a penny auction site that raises a penny every time someone bids. My son won a $25 gift card to a restaurant for .04 cents plus $1.99 in shipping. Also he won two polo shirts valued at eighty dollars for .82 cents. And that was just on the first two days that he bid. To sign up it is sixty dollars for one hundred bids. Trust me this website, Quibids, is legit and it is worth the signup fee. Clothespin dolls

I am so frustrated because I am working on a clothespin doll for a customer who wants rain boots on the doll. I tried felt, didn't like it. So I got some clay at school and thought I would try that. Guess what? It is non-drying, non-hardening clay. Great, after I spent a hour trying to get it to dry in the oven.
