These cute bird houses started out as plain wood. I bought them at Hobby Lobby on sale and decided that I wanted to paint on them. I had seen on a show where a lady used birdhouses throughout her garden. I painted them bright colors so that they would be a good contrast up against foliage. I used my one stroke techniques to paint the flowers and leaves. Now I have to come up with some type of stand for them to go out in my garden. Check back soon for an update on these cute little birdhouses.
that's a coincidence! my daughter and I just painted 2 bird houses (and they do look like they were painted by a 2 yr old!) Yours are beautiful! You could always drill a small hole in the tops and run a little rope through (or maybe use a staple gun), then hang them on small shepherd hooks. Thanks for coming by my blog!! Hope to see you again next week!!
Thanks for visiting my blog !!! Your bird house are beautiful, I love birdhouse and have a couple myself. As to your question on the chair, the seat was a regular seat, particular board, batting, stuffing, covered in layers and layers of fabric and plastic (when it was used as outdoor furniture).
I am a happy mom of 3. Bryce, Daniel, and Mollie are my pride and joy. I also have a awesome husband... Noah.. I love you dear... I also teach Language Arts to 4th, 5th, and 6th
