I was out and about, checking out a few garage sales one day and came upon this artist clipboard. I knew the girl that was having the garage sale. She told me I needed it because I liked to paint. I bought it for a dollar, and it has been sitting in a closet for some time. I painted it black because it was in not so good of shape. Yesterday, I thought it was time to do something with it. It is not quite what I was thinking about, but I think it turned out pretty good.
I thought I could use it for holding a cookbook when I'm making a recipe. Or I could hang my grocery list on it. Or put my weeks menu on it. Or use it for decoration. The list is endless with what I can do with it. I chose chickens on it because they are all over my kitchen.

Very cute and original!
Very useful too! :)
To answer your question about the icing, there is no recipe really, just icing sugar (powdery stuff) and water or juice. Mix until the consistency of syrup? You'll be able to get the hang of it after a couple of goes...If too runny add more sugar, if too stiff add a few drops of liquid at a time.
Hope this helps,
Bird
